Grande Beach Cafe in Scharbeutz

Food delivery in lockdown. A culinary experience !! As usual, the preparation is very good and extremely tasty. But it is particularly worth noting that the food came on the table hot. That increases the enjoyment tremendously. That always works, because we have used the service several times and have always enjoyed the excellent result! We recommend!!! You are really great!

Goose fantastic 😊 At the weekend we ordered the all-inclusive package with a goose and we were definitely not disappointed. With the instructions even WE could easily conjure up a feast with dumplings, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts and cranberry-orange sauce and of course the goose. It was super tender and crispy - a clear recommendation!

Great location in Scharbeutz. Good selection of drinks and food. A good mix of regional and international cuisine. Good and plenty. Dessert variation is a dream. The homemade lemonades are also recommended. Nice, unobtrusive service with the necessary dash of humor. A recommendation.

I can only agree with the previous speaker. Delicious food, great location, super nice staff and perfect compliance with the hygiene rules, despite many people ... We would love to come back

The atmosphere was great, the staff were always friendly, courteous and quick. Hygiene regulations are implemented by way of example. Food very good. Registration recommended. 👍👍👍

The table was properly disinfected in advance, the food was delicious, prices match the quality offered. Service attentive and friendly. Drink prices don't tempt you!

Typical beach cafe with rather poor quality for my taste. Cake dry and the coffee rather weak 😏. But the prices for top quality 🤔 Unfortunately not at all suitable for my / our taste. Better to go a few steps further and for "normal" prices good coffee and delicious cakes a bit away from the promenade. Unfortunately not recommended from our side 😢

Everything just fits here! Right on the beach promenade, a super great ambience (here they really pay attention to details). We were there for breakfast and dinner. Both were really delicious and highly recommended. The service staff in the morning and in the evening attentive, in a good mood and very competent. Price-performance top !! It was a pleasure....

Very nice friendly staff, great atmosphere and excellent food. Yesterday, 26-09.20, we were here again. This time ate the delicious liver. We recommend. A special request for dessert was not a problem.

We ate here in the summer and got a seat pretty quickly. The service is okay and we didn't have to wait long. The food tasted really good. In terms of price, it is completely within the framework and of course the view offers one thing. We can therefore highly recommend the restaurant and will not have been there for the last time :-) P.s. You can now order for delivery, we will test that if necessary and report.

Very nice atmosphere, with a view of the sea (on the outside terrace). The interior on the other side is also very nicely decorated. Very friendly and attentive staff, delicious food and a great, large selection of drinks. We have already spent several afternoons / evenings here and have always felt very comfortable - we will definitely be back.

We felt very comfortable here. The food and the homemade lemonade were a real treat. If you would like to eat original Wiener Schnitzel, this is the right place. The staff deal professionally with the requirements that we currently have. Only for that would I give an additional star.

The food and drinks were great. The. The Rustipani is deliciously Mediterranean and the refreshing watermelon-lime lemonade is something different and recommended. We were lucky and we saw near the glass front and the view was amazing 👌🏻

Very good, friendly service. We were there spontaneously with four adults and two children and got a nice table, although this was not to be expected on a busy Friday evening due to the current hygiene rules. The drinks and food were picked up and served quickly. Everything tasted very tasty. Overall, the restaurant is professionally organized. The waiting time (approx. 30 minutes) was worth it. The price-performance ratio, for what you get for it, is also right.

We were guests at the Grande Beach Café with two adults and 5 children between 0 and 9 years of age. The welcome was friendly and we were shown to our table. The service is nice and accommodating. And the offer is very nice, especially for families with children, as the little ones on the menu are given extra children's dishes. These are surprisingly large in terms of portion size and still very inexpensive. You don't even pay € 5 for most children's meals. The price-performance ratio for the food is generally very good in the Grande Beach Café. The drinks are a bit expensive though. So you pay € 4.20 for a little still water for a salami pizza € 4.90 so you can quickly lose track of the amount. The homemade lemonades are particularly recommended. The food is tasty and of a good standard. I will be happy to come back here and recommend the Grande Beach Café unreservedly.

Nice location directly at the beach. There is glas, so you are protected from the wind. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We came here for tea only but this was good :) Not quite cheap but the view is worth it. Update: We came for breakfast, too. It was also very delicious. Last update: We had dinner here. It was also very good. I can fully recommend this location :)

Great Place for a quick lunch! I had the Catch if the day, a Loup de Mer with Aspargus, Grilled Potatoes and Basil Hollandaise (26€) - fish was grilled on point, Basil Hollandaise was very tasty and freshly made! Service was attentive and very friendly. Price wise it’s appropriate to the location right at the beach, main course 18-30€ which is absolutely fair, would go again!

Lovely place

The breakfast was copious and with a lot of variety. Tasted good and the price was around 11-15€ person.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was tasty, hot and the portions were big enough. The selection of food and drinks is extensive and balanced, from starters, meat and fish dishes to desserts with cakes and pies to various types of ice cream.

Great place for a late breakfast on a dry but grey, breezy Wednesday in December. Dine in the warmth of the cafe proper, or sit out in the glass-fronted outdoor annex overlooking the beach, beneath the blaze of a dozen infra-red lamps. Do be sure to choose items from the correct (breakfast before noon, lunch after noon) menu, as the kitchen staff have forgotten how to make caramellized goats' cheese tartlets before noon, and presumably forget how to craft a near-perfect Eggs Benedict after noon...!). Prompt, if domineering, service, at a reasonable price with a stunning Baltic views to the North and East.

Nice choice of drinks. I can recommend the PIMM'S CUP.

Delicious and great service!

On the Baltic coast, about as close to the beach as you can get, sits this delightful restaurant. For a Tuesday night, it was packed, which is always a good sign. The fish was high quality and served with a large portion of Bratkartofflen (fried potatoes and onions). For €13, you got three good pieces of fish. Plus a beer for €3, it made for a reasonably priced night. One note, it's cash only, but there's a cash machine close by. Well worth a stop if you're working your way up the coast and want to get away from the hustle-bustle of Travemünde

Been here a few times and liked it. It's next to the beach, everyone is on holiday, so don't expect a super clean and well looked after place. Nevertheless, the food is good and so are the drinks.
